Global Drug Concepts

Global Drug Concepts (GDC) realizes that over 70 percent of drug abusers in the U.S. are employed and create very real problems and safety risks within their workplace and homes. There are very few, if any work venues, whether private or public, that don't experience or have present issues with drug abuse. GDC is committed to providing the most current and relevant training for drug abuse in the workplace.

GDC, an exciting new drug awareness training endeavor, was recently formed by Law Enforcement officers with backgrounds of over 90 years of experience in the field. The main instructors for the drug awareness program have over fifty (50) years of experience in the drug abuse domain, to include working undercover and supervising both federal and local undercover operations.  Due to their law enforcement backgrounds, the instructors have years of experience with reasonable suspicion. These instructors continue to have a relationship with local and federal law enforcement in areas of drug enforcement/abuse.

For over a decade these instructors have lectured throughout the State of Ohio and the U.S. providing current and relevant drug awareness training to a multitude of various professional and community groups. GDC instructors are experts in the area of current drug trends, terminology, paraphernalia, concealment and physiological affects of all drugs of abuse in today's world.

GDC instructors have conducted training for State, County and City entities, including probation and parole officers, police and fire departments throughout the United States and in the State of Ohio.  Thousands of drug abuse counselors and professionals in public and private venues continue to be trained by the GDC instructors. Other sectors that have been impacted by the GDC drug awareness training include, hospital staff and teachers from many different school districts throughout the state.

Private and public business entities have introduced the GDC training as an additional way to recognize and focus on health and safety in the workforce.  This education equips front line supervisors, managers, and employee’s to recognize the hazards of drug abuse if someone is working under the influence or impaired. In addition, GDC training educates on how drug abuse affects individuals, their workplace, and their families.  Companies such as Hirsh Vogel (Columbus), Kenworth (Chillicothe) and the Ford Transmission Facility (Sharonville) have received this valuable training, and felt this education was not only one of the most unique and best educations, but it served well in their efforts to educate employees, and reduce critical safety risks within their organization.
